Where are Mr. Beni pieces created?
Our collections are created in the United States and Costa Rica. Across our studios, every piece is produced according to the same principles that define Mr. Beni: carefully selected materials, a deep respect for craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to every detail that brings each creation to life.
What materials are used in each piece?
Every artwork is produced on a premium canvas crafted from a carefully selected cotton and polyester blend, chosen for its stability, rich texture, and exceptional resistance to fading. This ensures the depth, vibrancy, and integrity of the illustration are preserved over time.
Each piece is presented in a handcrafted floating frame made from high-quality pine wood. Its construction creates a subtle space between the canvas and the frame, giving the artwork greater depth, balance, and an architectural presence.
Every material is selected with the same level of care that defines our creative process, where technical precision and craftsmanship come together to create a piece designed to endure.

How do I take care of my artwork?
Every piece is created to preserve its beauty and character for years to come. With a few simple care practices, you can help maintain the integrity of its materials and finishes.
We recommend displaying your artwork indoors, away from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and rain.
For routine care, gently remove dust using a soft, clean cloth that is slightly damp, wiping lightly across the surface without applying pressure.
To preserve the canvas and its finishes, do not use disinfectants, solvents, abrasive materials, or any chemical cleaning products.
Because the artwork is created on a textile canvas, we also recommend avoiding long-term storage or placing heavy objects against its surface, helping preserve the canvas's original tension and appearance.

Each illustration is created individually by our artists, who begin every piece from a blank canvas. Rather than simply recreating a photograph, they carefully study every expression, every gaze, and every distinctive feature to create an artwork that preserves your pet's unique character.
There are no templates, pre-designed compositions, or repetitive processes. Every piece develops its own visual language through a series of thoughtful decisions, where every line, texture, and subtle detail is guided by intention.
We believe in the enduring value of artwork created by hand—pieces where craftsmanship remains visible in every detail, and where artistry is not simply a technique, but a way of preserving a story.
That belief is reflected in every creation that leaves our workshop.
What can be personalized in a piece?
Every creation begins with a story and can be personalized through a carefully curated selection of elements, each chosen to complement the composition while preserving the balance and character of the artwork.
During this process, you'll select the size, frame finish, background color, and other details that will define your piece. You may also include your pet's name, a meaningful date, a personal dedication, or a short message that holds special significance.
When a piece is created as a tribute, subtle commemorative elements—such as a halo or a paw print—can be incorporated with the same restraint and sensitivity that define the rest of the composition.
Every detail is thoughtfully integrated, allowing the artwork to maintain its own identity while becoming a piece uniquely shaped by the story it represents.
Can I include more than one pet in the same piece?
Each artwork is designed to celebrate the story of a single pet.
This approach allows every expression, texture, and distinctive detail to receive the attention that defines our work, resulting in a piece with its own identity and presence.
For those who wish to preserve the stories of multiple companions, we offer our Collection Sets—a curated arrangement of individual artworks designed to be displayed together. Each piece honors the unique character of one pet while creating a harmonious collection as a whole.
Can a piece be created in memory of a pet who has passed away?
Many of our artworks are created to honor the memory of pets who held an irreplaceable place in the lives of their families.
When appropriate, we can thoughtfully incorporate subtle commemorative details designed to honor their memory, always preserving the quiet elegance of the artwork and the unique spirit of the companion who inspired it.
Can a piece be created as a gift?
Absolutely.
Many of our artworks are created as meaningful gifts—a lasting way to honor the bond someone shares with their pet through a piece conceived to be treasured for years to come.
If the artwork is intended for someone else, we will take care of every detail so that the experience of receiving it becomes part of the creation itself.

How long does it take to create a piece?
Each piece from the Signature Collection is created individually. Its creation follows a process in which time, precision, and attention to every detail are essential to the work.
For this reason, all timelines are estimates and may vary depending on the complexity of the artwork, the number of pieces included in the commission, and any revisions made throughout the process.
01 — Design & Creation
3–6 business days
The process begins with the interpretation of your pet’s story and the elements that will define the identity of the piece.
Every detail is carefully developed until the composition is uniquely conceived for your pet. The completed design will then be presented for your review before proceeding to production.
02 — Approval & Production
2–3 business days from final approval
Only after receiving your final approval does the artwork proceed to production.
The piece moves through preparation, mounting, and framing, followed by a final inspection to ensure it reflects the character and standards of The Signature Collection.
03 — Delivery
3–6 business days
Once completed, the artwork is carefully protected and prepared for its journey to its destination.
Once your piece is on its way, you will receive tracking information so you can follow its journey.
Shipping is complimentary within the United States and Costa Rica.

This estimated timeframe begins once your order is confirmed and we have received the photo and all required personalization details. It is provided as a general reference.

Is the artwork approved before production?
Yes. Every artwork is presented for your approval before it is produced on canvas.
The preview is an essential part of our creative process. Together with your personal advisor, you will have the opportunity to refine, adjust, or incorporate any details you wish until you are completely satisfied with the artwork.
Your piece will not be produced or shipped until you are completely confident in the final result. Only with your final approval will it move forward in the process.
How is the piece prepared for delivery?
Each artwork is carefully prepared for its journey using protective materials designed to preserve both the canvas and the frame throughout transit.
Once this stage is complete, the piece is entrusted to specialized shipping partners, with every precaution taken to ensure it arrives in the same condition in which it left our studio.
Every creation is protected by the Mr. Beni Guarantee, reflecting the care, precision, and commitment that accompany each artwork from the moment it is created until it reaches its destination.
Photography
Do I need to choose the photo before the creative process begins?
No.
Selecting the photograph is part of the creative process. You may confirm your order first and choose the photograph afterward.
If you have several images, our team will personally guide you in selecting the one that best captures your pet's expression, presence, and distinctive features.
The chosen photograph becomes the foundation of an artwork thoughtfully created to preserve your pet's essence as faithfully as possible.
What makes a good photo?
Photos with natural lighting, sharp resolution, and a high level of detail provide the ideal foundation for your illustration.
Before the creative process begins, our team will carefully review your selected photograph. If needed, we'll personally guide you in choosing the image that best represents your pet and allows us to capture every detail with the highest level of accuracy.
The Service
Is my payment information secure?
Your payment information is securely processed through encrypted payment systems. Mr. Beni does not store your full payment card details.
What does the Mr. Beni Guarantee include?
Every piece is carefully inspected, protected, and prepared for shipment before leaving our studio.
In the unlikely event that your artwork experiences an issue during transit, our team will review the situation personally and provide the most appropriate solution.
The Mr. Beni Guarantee protects every creation from the moment production begins until it reaches its destination, reflecting the same level of care with which the piece was conceived.
Can I cancel my order or request a refund?
Every Mr. Beni creation is individually conceived around your pet and the personalization choices defined for your artwork. It is not a mass-produced piece, but a made-to-order creation developed through a manual, artisanal process that requires time, precision, and careful attention to every detail.
For this reason, our cancellation and return terms reflect the individual progress of each artwork.
Within the first 24 hours following order confirmation, you may request a cancellation and receive a full refund of the amount paid.
Once this period has passed, the creative process for your piece begins. From that point forward, any cancellation requested before final approval of the artwork will be eligible for a refund equal to 50% of the total amount paid, reflecting the creative, artistic, and personalization work already completed.
Before your artwork is brought to life on canvas, you will receive a preview and have the opportunity to review it and request any necessary refinements. Once you provide final approval, the artwork will be considered accepted and no further cancellations or refunds may be requested. At this stage, the creation has been completed according to your specifications and proceeds to its final production and preparation.
Because of its exclusively personalized nature, each artwork is created for one individual client and is inherently personal. Once approved, it cannot be resold, reassigned, or intended for another recipient.
Protection During Shipping
In the exceptional event that an artwork is damaged in transit, it will be protected by The Signature, our coverage for Mr. Beni pieces.
We will personally review each situation and work with you to provide a resolution consistent with the nature and standards of our collections.
Because a creation made exclusively for you deserves to be protected with the same care with which it was conceived.
